Description: This is BC 412 scintillation plastic made by Bicron. The standard 7" X 7" X 2.25"(nominal) size that I've sold many of over the years for $150 is now offered with an accompanying piece of the same material as a free bonus. The bonus block is 3.5" X 3.5" X 2.25" (nominal). This smaller block of BC 412 has some interesting microscopic sparkles in it, but still works as an excellent detector. I offer it as an extra piece of material for those who enjoy doing radiation detection experiments. These pieces can also be stacked to make a thicker detector for those who need it. The pricing amounts to about $1/cu.in. including shipping. Shipping is free and will be by USPS Priority Mail. California residents must add 8% sales tax.
