He ran the iconic Fillmores, both East and West, where he booked all of the most well known rock bands of the era. Everyone from The Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, the Allman Bros., John Lennon, Frank Zappa, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Ten Years After, The Band, Santana... to name just a few, play at one or both of his famous venues. Bill died in a helicopter crash in 1991 in California, after departing a Huey Lewis and the News concert. Hard core vintage rock and roll fans will always be indebted to him for the major impact he had on the 1960's Rock music scene.The ticket is in excellent vintage condition.It is a great item to add to any vintage rock collection.
