The Black Label Balsa - Potbelly - Custom Balsa Hybrid Squarebill Crankbait is hand crafted and painted by MLF Pro Tour Angler and Bassmaster Classic Champion Cliff Pace. The Potbelly has a circuit board squarebill with the line tie coming through the bill. Cliff worked on designing this bait for several months to get the specific action he wanted out of a hybrid squarebill. This bait has a tight soft, subtle vibrating action, but has a ton of body roll and flash. It has a soft, subtle vibrating swim like a flat bait, but the body roll and flash of a round bait. This crankbait absolutely murders pressured finicky fish. During the testing stage of this bait it really shined when the fish where pressured and wouldn't hit a standard flat bait or squarebill. There's something about the unique action of this bait that gets fish to hit it, when they won't hit anything else.
