Description: One complete excellent like new condition hackberry M-1 garand stock with matching handguards and all metal,wood has nice grain,and good red brown ( almost a light chocolate) brown color,heavy hackberry ( very dense but maleable wood,resists dings and scratches better than most woods,easy to steam a major ding out of) stock,stock has all metal,buttplate with both stock screws and the rear sling swivel,middleband with screw and sling swivel,handguards have ferules,this is a new replacement stock,I can make out the 2017 date in stock channel and handguards,I am guessing BOYD,because that is the only company I know of currently manufacturing hackberry stocks, these are the current stocks being used by the CMP to refurb the more expensive grade of M-1 garands that are currently available through the CMP. see my other listings for more US M-1 carbine and M-1 garand rifle parts and accessories
