The brass steps have attached sprues that need to be removed and the part filed or smoothed. These BRASS steps (74050) are a direct replacement for your N-5 or N-5C platform corner steps (74006). The 74050 is different from the Cal Scale #190-475 which are the N-8 style steps. This part has been discontinued by Bowser.
