In the aviation environment there's room for your flight timer, fuel testers, E6B, flashlights, compact portable GPS, and so forth. But, it's also great for your computer's cord, chargers for your iPad, and whatever else. There is also a flat half-height slip pocket on the inner surface of the module where you can stow an important document or two like a copy of your medical or your passport. The rear cap has two flat pockets on the outside. The main one opens from the top with a flap secured with Velco, and is a great place to stick your iPad. There is a second half-height slip pocket that's ideal for basic documents that you need fast access to - checklists, for example. It also has a zipper across the bottom to allow it to slip over the upright handle of a folding cart or rolling suitcase. Remove the 2" center section, zip what's left back together, and you've got the B-Zero "Slim" for tablets, papers, etc. This is a great product for technical professions. For example, our service department uses laptops to read and program the electronic control modules in our Centurion/Continental diesel powered Cessna airplanes. This requires not just a laptop, but a bulky USB interface cable and a bunch of small tools. This used to require a laptop bag and then a separate tool bag. All that is gone now; everything travels easily in the B2 along with an iPad and the needed paperwork. The interior of the laptop compartment is 13.5" tall, 10.0" wide, and 2.0 inches deep. (34cm x 25cm x 5cm) comprising 270 cubic inches. The laptop compartment can be accessed by unzipping the two zippers to open the entire rear panel, giving access to the gray interior. There are two adjustable Velcro "stopper straps" which serve to limit how far the cover is able to pivot open - thus keeping the cover from unintentionally flopping all the way open and dumping everything out.The laptop compartment provides two inches of storage depth, but keep in mind that there are also two thin flat storage areas BETWEEN the three modules. (Remember, it is a soft bag so it can expand slightly in every direction.) Overall, the bag is 14.0" tall, 10.5" wide, 3.75" deep. (36cm x 27cm x 9.5cm) Expansion potential is pretty much unlimited; the B2 is compatible with any other of the FLEX system inserts so you can make it as big or as small as you need. Comes with shoulder strap and a collection of handles and adapters. The Slim Handle Kit consists of a Slim Handle, two Adapter Loops, and four D3 Clips. The Main Handle or the Shoulder Strap can be attached to the 2" center section by use of the quick release clips. If you convert the B2 to a B0 "Slim" by removing the center section, then the D3 Clips and the Adapter Loops can be installed so that you can use BOTH the Slim Handle and the Shoulder Strap at the same time with the B0 "Slim".
