This listing is for a vintage Brilhart mouthpiece for Eb alto saxophone. This is an Ebolin version of the standard model. This one is from the 'Great Neck, NY' era of Brilhart production. The serial number is 64323, stamped on the side in large font. It was stamped 4 on the table, but that is difficult to see now that it has been refaced. I have no idea who did the work, but it appears to be of good quality, and the piece plays well. The tip opening measures .075". The baffle might have also been adjusted to compensate for the larger tip opening. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no cracks or other damage. There was a tooth indentation on the bite plate, which has been filled and smoothed. It is a slightly different color, so it is noticeable visually. For some reason it didn't show up in the closeup pics of the bite plate, but you can see it it the very first listing picture. There is ligature scratching/scuffing on the top of the exterior.
