Adapter cap and USB-C to Lightning cable are needed to connect Apple Pencil to the iPad, other normal charging cables that do not have the capability to connect bluetooth will not work, so this cable is included. The reason this Apple Pencil needs a separate adapter cap and cable to connect is because Apple Pencil has lightning adapter while iPad has USB-C connector, (Apple's choice, not mine.) 1st Gen Apple Pencils are only compatible with lightning ports, so the adapter cap is needed in order to connect and charge the pencil to iPad. Accessory to better prevent loss of the cap or adapter is also included. This bundle has all items needed for the iPad, all of the items are used but work like brand new. iPad and Apple Pencil retail for $650, so looking for listed or better offer.
