Description: BYE BYE BIRDIE, Herald (Advertising Flyer), 12/25/91, National Tour, Kennedy Center, Washington, DE. The musical opened in NYC on 04/14/60 and ran for 607 performances. The revival opened in St. Louis at the MUNY on 07/09/90 and ran through 07/15/90. This tour began in Long Beach, CA on 05/09/91 and closed in Toronto, Canada on 05/31/92 but never went to NYC. The front features artwork; and some cast credits and title. The back contains 22 reasons to buy tickets; performance dates and theatre credit. The cast (not all listed) includes Tommy Tune, Lenora Nemetz (replacing Ann Reinking), Marilyn Cooper, Susan Egan, Marc Kudisch, Steve Zahn, Dale O'Brien, Belle Calaway, Jessica Stone and Joey Hannon. Music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams and book by Michael Stewart. Directed by Gene Saks and choreographed by Edmond Kresley. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
