Description: Cute little Betsy McCall's pretty pac carrying case by AMSCO Toy company. Sweet little Betsy sports a black bob and red headband with Peter Pan collar top and heart shaped necklace. Sturdy, washable vinyl construction. Solid metal zipper. It's about 10" x 10" excluding the handle. Weighs 10 oz empty. McCall's Magazine introduced Betsy McCall in 1951 and she exploded on the scene. It's no wonder why! Look how cute and cool she is. This pretty pac was designed intended for kids, but lets face it - it's pretty awesome for adults too. A young artist has added their signature touch to the interior. It appears to be a lipstick smeared artfully in swirls. It adds an extra flair to the pice. Condition: This is a pre-loved vintage item. It's been thoroughly cleaned on the outside and inside but still shows some signs of wear and staining as pictured. The front graphics are in pretty good condition with only a few scuffs and red color runs. The read heart border is still in very good condition. Exterior vinyl is in pretty good condition - free of any major holes or tears. The zipper still functions well. An inner card sleeve is missing as pictured. Use this as a purse, as a display item, to store your Betsy McCall doll and accessory collection. Makes a good makeup case. Nice little nostalgia item! Dates from mid to late 1950s to early 1960s.
