Campagnolo skewer shaft to make Nuovo Record 5sp skewer a 6 sp

Description: For this listing, you get a skewer shaft just like the ones shown in the photos - just one, and just the shaft.Convert your 5sp Campy NR skewer to a 6 speed! It can be hard finding the 6sp skewers and with this shaft you can do the conversion. Price is for one shaft, NOS and factory fresh. The shaft is black. In a major parts purchase we made, we found these skewer shafts labled as part 7319050. We aren't sure what model skewer they were made for, but we grabbed a Campy Nuovo Record 5 speed skewer (an old flat handle one) and put in this shaft - and it worked like a champ! We took meassurements too and it seems like its on the money. We then rode with it and it worked great. I fact, we used it on a 130mm space frame which really is too wide for this shaft (there is thread contact but not the proper amount. But it did work). Then we took the shaft and tried using it on later curved skewer guts and it worked fine too. This item is perfect for that old Cinelli, Masi, Hetchins, Reynolds 531 or Columbus SL bicycle that you have. This item will be great for that vintage lightweight bicycle that you may be displaying at Classic Bicycles Auburn in June 2024 in Auburn Indiana at the famous Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum The fine print: It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine if an item purchased from us is safe for use.
