On Nov. 7th of this year Calgary was incorporated as a town, changing its name from Fort Calgary. Equally as important in 1884 is the fact that the Parliament of Canada passed the Indian Advancement Act, which encouraged the democratic election of chiefs. However, the Mohawks at St. Regis, Ontario, resisted the provision, and continued to use their traditional method of choosing leaders. BEAUTIFUL BROWN COLOR. This coin is not certified, but I am considered by most of my colleagues as a conservative coin grader. Using existing standards it is my opinion the condition of this coin is Almost Uncirculated (AU). So please look at the scan and grade the coin for yourself as this is the actual coin you will receive.
