It does not affect the focusing or image framing when you have your eye up close looking through it. Other than a couple of cosmetic signs of wear, which should be expected, this camera is a beauty. Everything has been tested and works as expected. The lens is clean of any scratches, fungus, haze, or oil. The built in lens hood does show normal wear marks on it.
