Too many one step products on the market are too aggressive for “sensitive paints” and even with the mildest polishing pad, holograms and/or swirl marks can be created when attempting to remove the more apparent defects. Synthesize should be specifically used on those vehicles that need mild correcting and polishing while adding a wax and sealant to the surface. Synthesize is the perfect combination of chemicals to leave a perfect looking finish even on the “softest” paints. Many detailers struggle to “finish out” a vehicle without micro-marring the paint. This typically creates a very frustrating situation where the detailer finds themselves constantly changing the buffing pad, polishing agent and machine speed to perfect the paint. The paint rarely ever gets perfected and a glaze or other filling agent is used to mask the marring. While Synthesize does contain a wax and sealant that can “fill” the paint, the extremely mild correcting and polishing abrasives will help remove micro-marring without masking it. How to Use: The most important step of the detail process is to start with a clean surface. Preparation in regards to removing insect residue, tar, and paint contamination by using a clay process or fallout remover, should be done prior to using this product. Apply a small amount of product onto a foam pad, and slowly work into painted surface with the machine off. This will help avoid any type of product sling. If you are an experienced detailer, slow acceleration of the machine can be started right away without the any product sling. Work the product until the product becomes nearly invisible. This is an area that is rushed by many auto detailers. If you do not work the product thoroughly, you will not allow the abrasives in the product to be diminished completely. Wipe the area with a soft microfiber towel. Check your work and proceed to next panel If pad and product combination are producing the desired result. You can always switch the pad to a more aggressive foam pad if necessary. Always start with the least aggressive pad and work your way up the pad aggressiveness level. This is especially true to the enthusiast detailer who does not have the experience in order to choose the correct pad and product combination quickly.
