These are tumbled in our commercial equipment to ensure a finished product ready for use in your project giving the oysters a smooth exterior as if they rolled in months of surf and sand. Our oyster shells come right from the Texas Gulf Coast and are washed, cleaned and tumbled to knock down sharp edges. Our family members drill the holes in each oyster in the center to make it easy to hang or string for your project. These oysters were first used as a food source and are now repurposed to produce beautiful craft quality shells. The approximate size range is 2 1/2 inch to 3 inch plus. These oyster shells are a product of nature and no two will be alike. We state an approximate size range. We do not offer these to fit the size you need for a specific craft project. We will ship you the quantity you order within the size range stated.We will not do any special order picking for specific sizes, shapes or color ranges. These are bulk priced and are exactly as we gathered them up at the beach.
