Description: This is a rare vintage carded factory sample of Chanel No. 19 Eau de Parfum by Chanel. The copyright date indicated on the packaging is 1989. Chanel's Eau de Parfum concentrations were first introduced on the market in 1986 so this is one of the earliest formulations of No. 19 in the Eau de Parfum concentration. The contents of the vial measure approximately 0.5 ml (0.017 FL.OZ). I removed two of the samples from the box to check the volume of the contents and measured them by hand with laboratory-grade syringes—the contents measured 0.52 ml and 0.51 ml, respectively. The two samples that were selected for testing have been removed from stock and will not be sold. The samples available for sale are in original condition and have not been opened. Please note that there may be some slight variation in the volume of the contents as these are over thirty years old. I will inspect each vial before shipping to ensure that the level is within the expected range. The samples are presented in glass vials with black plastic stoppers. The vials are screen printed with Nº 19 CHANEL EAU DE PARFUM. They are packaged in folding sample cards, printed on both sides. The font panel features a full-color image of the two presentations of the fragrance available at the time (an Eau de Parfum splash in the classic Chanel bottle and a refillable Eau de Parfum spray) and the fragrance name CHANEL EAU DE PARFUM Nº 19 printed at the bottom of the panel. The back panel includes space for sales representatives to write their information. The interior reads A NEW FASCINATION. on the left panel and PRESENTING EAU DE PARFUM Nº 19. Audacious. Assertive. Never conventional. on the right. The samples have been stored in their original box in cold storage since acquisition fifteen years ago. Prior to this they were kept in climate-controlled storage. PLEASE NOTE: The term vintage as applied to fragrance refers to both pre-reformulation fragrances. For newer releases this may mean 10-15 years. Older releases may range anywhere between 15 to 70 years old or, in some cases, even older. While we test all fragrances prior to listing and all of our listings meet our professional standard of acceptability, they may not meet your personal standards. We guarantee that the fragrance is authentic and we ensure that none of the fragrances listed here have "gone off" or "turned" but it should be noted that fragrances do change over time.
