Description: We are offering this fine Chinese Republic Period four panel table screen with 11 gorgeously painted and signed porcelain plaques featuring chickens, ducks and possibly quail (the twelfth panel has a large section in the middle that is missing). The rosewood frames of the panels also have 7 missing horizontal bars and all the hinges missing. Finally 6 of the porcelain panels are cracked. All that said, the painted panels are masterfully done in miniature and 6 are signed (all of the panels are clearly by the same hand). Each wooden panel is 6 7/8" tall x 1 7/8" wide. 8 of the porcelain plaques are 1 3/8" square and the four central smaller ones (including the damaged one) are 1 7/8" wide x 1" tall.
