Description: CLA'd & Tested Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58/2 M42 T Wartime 17 Blades w/ Preset TRIVIA: a famous German vintage MF 'swirly bokeh' lens, scarcer wartime design (early post-war production) known as 'wartime slim alloy'. Maintains many blades design (17 blades) like pre-war items while already being T-coated. Such combo logically makes them more popular than other types. Lens contains built-in preset mechanism - very rare, never seen anything like this in the past on such model. Looks professionally done (works well). ITEM CONDITION: an item used previously (prod. date ca 1960). Lens professionally overhauled (cleansed, relubed, adjusted) by a paid technician. So the item is absolutely clean and runs buttery smooth now, 17 blades perfect without abrasion, runs buttery smooth. Precise pinpoint focusing is a real joy with the lens now after a complete relube. No further investments necessary. Glasses in solid condition, coatings have various age related artifacts as pretty common but nothing to have any impact on photos.
