This is a highly collectible Original Tama STILT RoadPro Double Tom Stand that is in nearly flawless condition from the Late 1980's....possibly very early 1990 timeframe definitely from before the manufacturing was moved to Taiwan. This is an Omni Sphere Double Ball and L-Arm Tom Drum stand. Note, this has the original "Red" STILT sticker that shows the "Patent was Pending" and this stand was Definitely MADE IN JAPAN and has it printed into the metal on the stand in multiple locations. Made in Japan is what makes this stand highly collectible and special in its condition. This has the newer Omni Sphere more rounded and more solid fixture head and not the old cast rectangular or squared off thin metal clamp head. This stand has the original Rotation Lock Collar and the original Tilt Lock Collar which makes it complete.Most all of these stands from this early timeframe the Red color in the tag has completely faded to a grey, there is some fading on one side of this sticker...otherwise pretty "Minty".This stand leans or "TILTS" forward, Rotates and has adjustable Height and Ball Tom Arms. It would be difficult to find another vintage Tama STILT Stand in this fantastic condition. This is similar to the current Tama HTW839W stand which is made in china.....but without the china....and built like a tank weighing like 12 pounds. Will package professionally with bubble wrap to insure it arrive in the same fantastic condition with shipping calculated on destination, insurance included.
