Description: Beautiful colored Agate Shoshone Knife recovered at Vantage Washington. A ways from its home this was surely carried in by a trader or fisherman. A real different color and very nice workmanship just a beautiful artifact. I found this knife in the clay base under what looked like a flood layer of very large boulders. Washing out along the shoreline just not sure just how old this might be. Had to dig out the blade with my pocketknife and was just sure it would be broken. Very happy when it turned out to be complete. You won't see many of these out on the market, but we are selling off our old collection made during the 40s 50s and early 60s. All personal finds. You are getting this from the finder, and I will send along a note with info as to where and when I found this artifact. A special thanks to all the collectors who are now caretakers of many of these artifacts out of our collection.
