Obverse: An image of the Eagle established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland, on both sides of the Eagle a notation of the year of issue: 20-12, below the Eagle an inscription: ZŁ 2 ZŁ, in the rim an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA, preceded and followed by six pearls. The Mint’s mark, M/W, under the Eagle’s left leg. Reverse: On the right, stylized image of sitting Stańczyk, a court jester of Polish kings, from Jan Matejko painting “Stańczyk”. On the left, semicircular inscription: 150 LAT MUZEUM NARODOWEGO/W WARSZAWIE (150 years of the National Museum/in Warsaw).
