Complete Harry Potter - First Editions [See Chamber of Secrets Description]

Description: Please read all details before bidding. I'm happy to answer any questions and provide additional photos upon request. All sales are final because I can't guarantee authenticity once they've left my home. I purchased these Harry Potter Books new when they first came out (remember B. Dalton?), and they've been in my non-smoking home ever since. Each book has a beautiful dust jacket, there's no missing pages or writing inside either. Let's talk about the Chamber of Secrets. I purchased Chamber of Secrets at the same time I purchased Sorcerer's Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban the month they came out in the U.S. Sorcerer's Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban very clearly say First American Edition, but Chamber of Secrets doesn't say it. Upon further research, the first run of the first edition of Chamber of Secrets had no number on the spine of the dust jacket or the hardcover. The following runs of the first edition used the left-over dust jackets from that first run. As you can see from the photo, there's no number on the spine of the dust jacket. Additionally, the first edition had a $17.95 cover price and so does my copy. My position is that given the time I purchased this book it has to be a first edition, but because I'm not an expert (I just did my research on the internet), I can't guarantee I'm right. Additional details: As you can see from the photos, there's no discoloration of the dust jackets and very little wear. The bit of wear there is is along the top of the spines - there's a bit of a crinkle. The pages are cream colored. There's no writing or anything like that in these books. There is a spot on top of one of them (you can see it in the photos). It's on the Prisoner of Azkaban. There's also a fold on the inside dust jacket cover of the Deathly Hallows.
