Description: Livermore Ca. Bay Area Coulter pine cone. It is are dry. I picked them years ago and have been lugging them around with me ever since. They have no bugs in them but they do have dirt in them. I have brushed them with a paint brush but didn’t want to really get into cleaning them. It is are very pointy and sharp. The one shown is 10”. They have been stored inside and boxed up since picking. Magnificent feats of nature. Some bottom seeds are wiggly but secure. This one sits crooked as shown.
