Cremon-Stradivarius Copy Violin w/ Sachsen Bow & Lifton Case. Czechoslavakia

Description: Travel back in time with this Stradivarius copy violin. Made in Czechoslavakia. With a 14'' body and 23-1/2'' scale length, it is a 4/4, full-size violin. The inside label reads "Cremon-Straduarious/Made in Czechoslovakia." As Czechoslovakia was only a country from about 1919 to 1989, it is from sometime then. I'd guess towards the earlier of that time frame. Two-piece flame maple back. Flame maple sides. Spruce top. Maple neck. One fine tuner. Ebony fingerboard, nut, and tailpiece. Cosmetically, it looks okay, but does have age and play wear. Nicks, scrapes, and scratches on the top. Some scratches on the sides and back as well. Functionally, it plays. It comes with a bow stamped SACHSEN. The bow is about two-thirds haired. It comes with Paganini Rosin and a "Presto" case key. It comes in a Lifton case that is, as the logo badge read, "built like a fortress." The handle, side latches, and hinges all work. The middle latch is missing its spring, so has to be manually secured. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
