Description: You are looking at a relatively rare D'Angelico EXS-1 archtop guitar in gloss black with single floating humbucking pickup and case in Mint condition. The guitar has been very lightly played and is in near mint condition. No noticeable scratches, dings, cracks, etc. Frets are in good shape and electronics work as they should. Hardware is shiny with little to no tarnish. These were made with a few extra features like an ebony fingerboard with split block inlays and headstock overlay that later Korean D'Angelico's didn't have. Basically, a 16" body version of the EXL-1, similar in body size to an Epiphone Joe Pass, Gibson ES-175 or Excel '59. Time to pass it on to someone who can take advantage of its features. The case is also mint and comes with keys, instrument cable and tool. A classy looking instrument for anyone into jazz, blues, country, rockabilly or other.
