C. McCune for publishing items contrary to Presbyterian doctrine, and for setting up the schismatical congregation of Linwood and Mt. Lookout Church. It is a detailed account which condemns the principles & doctrines taught by McCune. Thomas Harvey Skinner, Jr. (1820-1892), b. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; d. Chicago, Illinois. A Presbyterian minister and scholar, he became professor of Didactic and Polemic Theology in McCormick Theological Seminary in 1881.
