Dion McGregor Dreams Again is a surreal narrative trip through the unexpected scenes of sleep-talker Dion McGregor's run-wild subconscious. In a voice that is at times reminiscent of an emphatic Gene Wilder, and at others of a fawning queen, McGregor makes audible his end of various fantastic, often bawdy dreams. Adventures and twisted scenes include "The Flight"'s balloon ride to the moon cut short fatally by a run-in with a flock of storks; the debacle of tatooing a girl's tongue, even after taking the precaution of sticking it in the tongue press to dry it; and McGregor's end of a casual conversation while he gives a tour of his "Collection," a personal living zoo of mythical and extinct creatures such as the Richard the Phoenix and Nate the Centaur. This release is by no means a listening experience for children -- there are graphic, sexual topics found throughout this somewhat hilarious and disturbing sequel to Decca's 1964 release of ten of McGregor's (cleaner) recorded somniloquies. ~ Joslyn Layne About InnerSleeve We offer unbeatable prices, quick shipping times and a wide selection of vinyl.
