It has the protective plastic on both sides to protect it from scratches until it is installed. It comes as shown in the pictures. This window is black tint plexiglass window with an aluminum frame. It has 2 turn latches to open and lock window. It has a shock to keep window open. It measures roughly 20 7/8" long X 21 1/4" wide X 1 1/2" D. The window itself without the frame measures roughly 17 1/2" X 17". The cut out measures roughly 18 1/4" X 17 3/4". It does not include a screen.
