DX-1500+ 10 Meter Linear Amplifier

Offered here is a quality built 10-meter linear amplifier. Powered by (10 transistors) 2 HG 454’s driving x (8) HG 2SC2879’s. This is being offered from my private collection and will be the second to the last unit I will list this year on eBay. It is a low drive unit rated for an input of 4 to 8 watts average. I tried more power but the amplifier is producing all it can with an 8 watt drive. I know whom ever purchases it may be tempted to drive it harder but all you can do at that point is destroy it. It will run all day long at 8 watts input giving you excellent output of 1300 to 1500+ PEP output. The unit is designed to run at 14.8 volts dc. The unit's power cord is about 15" long with a 175amp style Anderson connector. The unit measures approximately 14"L x 6.5"W x 5"T in a custom built box by me. The box has a few issues but overall looks excellent. The unit was tested using my Maco V-Quad antenna with a 10KW gamma rod and output was measured by my LP-700 Digital Station Monitor utilizing a 5KW coupler for output measurement. Your testing of this equipment may return different results then what I achieved but should be close. Ensure your antenna can take this power or you will destroy the amplifier. All that is being offered here is a linear amplifier and nothing else. Being offered as is due to the nature of the equipment and how easy it is to destroy it when improperly used or hooked up wrong.
