Description: This is an unplayed rare Canada Promo-only single by The Eagles, showcasing the song Lyin' Eyes (full 6 mins 23 secs version) with Hello Texas by Jimmy Buffett on the B-side. The reason for this unusual pairing is that both songs were taken from the soundtrack of the film Urban Cowboy and this single was released to promote the film and its soundtrack. This original Canada Promo single was released in 1980 and the words PROMOTIONAL COPY are printed on the label on both sides. The vinyl is in Mint condition. There is a small label on the A-side label, that may be removable. Promotional records were pressed in very limited numbers and distributed to print media and selected radio stations for review purposes and never sold to the general public.
