Description: Offered for your consideration is a clear glass spooner made by the Aetna Glass and Manufacturing Company (1880-1890). Although the original manufacturer's name for this pattern is unknown, there is evidence that this is the number 118 or "Reaper" pattern. Until the actual pattern name is confirmed, it is referred to as "Wheel and Comma" and dates to the early 1880s. This spoon vase features and engraved leaf and design. The spooner measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) tall and is 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter This spooner is in excellent used condition with no cracks, noticeable scratches, nor repairs. There are small chips or rough spots on one "comma". Spooner is used so there may be faint surface scratches, minor wear, or other indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There is a small bubble at rim, and there may be shear (straw) marks or other imperfections within the glass due to the manufacturing process used at the time. Spoon vase will be shipped from a smoke-free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
