Description: An early Roseville Rozane Royal antique vase c 1901-03. Beautiful glossy salt glaze covers a slip hand painted Canna Lily on a yellow-green and brown background. In very good antique condition with a glazed clay bit on the rim (pictured) from the production process and a discontinuity in the high gloss glaze on the bottom of the vase body (see picture of vase underside directly above marking) which appears to originate from production due to its crystalline appearance. Light crazing which is only visible in the light colored areas of the vase. Die impressed Rozane shape 842 and RPCo marks on underside. Approximate dimensions: 8" t x 4" dia.
