Description: Early Carved White Shell Cameo of Apollo with his Lyre set in a Silver Frame. The frame is made of a lower silver content, I believe its an 800 Silver. The Brooch is approximately 49 mm Long by 43 mm Wide by 10 mm Deep. This item weighs approximately 12.0 grams. This brooch is Not marked but has been acid tested and will be guaranteed as a Silver Alloy.Antique item lightly used overall in great condition, it will be sold AS IS. There is a tight crack along the front of the left-side, it doesn't go all the way through. The frame had a dark tarnish but can be cleaned up with a little bit of silver polish.
