We tried every balanced bat we could find, and my son says this bat is so balanced it feels lighter than anything else. I thought it was a great price at $279 it's a steal now. If your son is a contact hitter and you live somewhere cold and don't want composite this is a great bat. Cons: Like all aluminum bats there is some vibration but with the rubber knob and batting gloves my son says it's not bad at all.
