Orville by Gibson LPS-57C -Body: Curved maple top, mahogany back - Neck: Mahogany, 24 3/4" scale - Fingerboard: Rosewood - Pickups: Gibson '57 Classic (USA) x 2 - Color: CS (Cherry Sunburst) The guitar brand "Orville" was officially licensed by Gibson from around 1988 until the end of 1997. There are two types of Orville, Orville by Gibson and Orville, with the difference being that Orville by Gibson is equipped with genuine Gibson pickups. Orville by Gibson has models manufactured by Terada Gakki and models manufactured by FujiGen, and it is speculated that this unit is made by the FujiGen based on the serial number. Approximately 628mm/24.72in scale with 22 frets, long tenon, and set neck construction. The neck has a nicely sized C shape, not too thin or too thick. The fret side binding is the same as the higher-end models of the original, providing a premium feel. String height is around 2.0mm/0.08in at the 12th fret of the 6th string and about 1.2mm/0.05in at the 1st string. The neck is in good condition, with sufficient frets remaining and truss rod adjustment available. Although there are some minor dents and line marks, this guitar from about 30 years ago is maintained in a decently clean condition. Please inspect pictures for condition reference.
