A couple of things could have been better explained in the description and there is a way that it performs better that varies from what people used to tanked water heaters are familiar with. If you are pre-preparing for its arrival you need to know that it IS 100amps, but that it is two double pole 50amp circuit's, so that's four power wires and a ground. And when you're running it don't set the temperature to the maximum or it will cycle through 'over heating' a lot. Set it down one notch and it works perfect. And when you run a shower, turn it all the way up for a few seconds and then down to where you normally run it. it will heat up faster that way. Remember this is not a tanked water heater, so there are different rules. Other than that, which I consider part of my learning curve, it is the best decision I've made for home improvement in quite a while.works great21 Jul 15The water heater was compact and easy to install.
