It features 8 DMX ports and an Ethernet connector. Port 8 is supplied with a DMXinput AND a DMX output connector, allowing the Datagate to accept a standard DMXsignal and distribute it to the other DMX ports, like a standard DMX Splitter. The 7other ports can also be configured as inputs, and DMX ‘gender changers’ aresupplied to enable multiple DMX inputs to be processed by the Datagate.
