Description: EXCELLENT + CONDITION WWII PAL M1 BAYONET W/SCABBARD. In 1943 the U. S. military adopted the model M1 bayonet which was essentially the same as its predecessor, the model M1942 bayonet, except its blade length was shortened from just under 16" for the M1942 to just under 10" for the M1. This is one of those M1 bayonets - this one made by the PAL Blade Company (PAL). As shown by the photos, it is in excellent plus condition. Its unsharpened blade is properly stamped, "PAL/U (flaming bomb symbol) S" on its left ricasso. It comes with an M7 scabbard which has been painted green.
