Description: This is a used Exfo FTB-500 Mainframe with accessories. These are normally used by datacom & telecom installers for diagnosis and testing of communications lines (copper, fiber, etc). This is a heavy solid unit, definitely built strong and dense. All components including the case weigh just under 50-pounds.The unit is in very good condition with signs of wear, scratches, scuffs and marks from normal use, storage and transport. The mainframe has 4 available slots, one module is installed, an FTB-7300E SM OTDR module.I charged the unit up overnight, it powered on perfectly and battery showed to be 100%. The display is in excellent condition with no dead pixels or lines, bright backlight as well. Using the keyboard, mouse and touchscreen I was able to navigate through the operating system with no issues. It's running an embedded version of Windows XP. The Exfo Toolbox software is installed on the unit already. The mainframe and module are dated 2010, no calibration or other stickers are on the unit and calibration is not assumed or warranted.All software on the unit is sold as-is as-installed. I do not have any licenses, registrations, subscriptions or any other information about the software installed other than the two CDs included. All software is responsibility of the buyer, listing is mainly for the hardware.Please note that all batteries included are used and sold with no guarantees on life or longevity.
