Description: Extremely Rare one of a kind Antique 14KT Angel Skin Coral Carved Dragon 3 Strand Box Clasp This piece was commissioned by a client at our store and has been in a private estate since the early 1990's. Our Jeweler hand pierced this scroll design solid 14k back with handmade bezel and scroll design prongs. This was originally on a triple strand pearl clasp. I can restring the necklace using the original pearls if requested and for an additional fee. The fee would include the cost of the pearls + stringing. The carved dragon has natural ruby eyes. There are pinstem and catch findings still soldered to the back of this brooch, but the pinstem has been removed. I don't know the age of the coral, but it was considered antique at the time and was part of our loose stone inventory.
