Description: Up for sale is this Extremely Rare Antique Primitive Brass Wick trimmer. I could only find one other example selling in an auction over 15 years ago and I’m pretty sure this is the same pair. From one of the finest oil lamp collections I’ve ever seen. There is a bit of play at the top where the snips are set as well as in the snips themselves and it shows general wear and use that should be expected, I’m guessing these are around 150-200 years old. I will ship disassembled as shown in the last couple of photos. Measures about 5 5/8” tall. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
