fab vintage 60’s Emma Domb lace spaghetti strap dress, boned bodice size 0-2 EXC

Description: From a local estate auction: an Emma Domb formal dress from the late 1960s. This is a short formal dress made of lace over a taffeta lining; it has mellowed to a pale cream color. This has a sleeveless bodice with a straight neckline in the front, held up by double spaghetti straps that loop at the top; the back is cut deeper than the front. At the sides there is hidden boning along the side seams to ensure a smooth look. The waist is nipped in and defined with a row of piping, and the waist has a shallow V in front and back. Below the waist the skirt is gathered and draped for a tulip look - there is a tulle underlayer between the lace and taffeta, and the taffeta is cut narrower than the lace so that the lace floats over it. In back there's a 14" zipper and snaps below the waist - the plastic zipper helps date it to the late 1960s. There is no size tag in this, so please check the measurements below. It has been freshly cleaned and I found it to be in excellent shape with no real issues except a bit of damage to the lace scallops at the hem in 3 places, all shown in the last 3 photos. It would make a pretty wedding dress or formal gown.
