A signature model of Yngvay Malmsteen, a guitarist with superb technique. Basswood body (BodyDate: 08.12.11), large head with C-grip maple neck, trademark scalloped pasted maple fingerboard, approx. 40mm brass nut, jumbo frets, 4-point stop joint, F-key pegs, pressed saddle, PU is DiMarzio YJM x 2 & DiMarzio HS-3 SSS layout. This is a highly finished instrument with a scalloped fingerboard for smooth fingering with a light touch, jumbo frets, and DiMarzio YJM & HS-3 for natural tone and easy touch nuance. Missing back panel, tremolo spring replaced. There are some signs of use (scuffs and scratches, picking marks, paint chips at joints, fogging of metal parts and screws, etc.). The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to +/- 60 degrees.
