Newer versions of this parka were of lesser quality hardware and durability of the cotton. Used well for field research in Early 2000's. Reapplied Filson Oil/Wax to help with Water Resistance. Hairs and lint caught up from storage as the pictures show. Great for worn/used aesthetic, or repair to use it as originally intended. Still usable as is, but isn't 100% waterproof until repaired and possibly another rewax. Holes around pocket seams and wrist cuff area, no greater than an inch or so. Easily repairable, all from strain and stress, no punctures. Comes with a Filson Olive Green Removeable Mackinaw Wool Vest, attaches via zipper. Has pockets and can be used as a standalone vest.
