Description: 19th century French violin bow. Pernambuco stick. Nickel mounted. Under slide is missing. Fair condition. 60.5g——9 1/2—727mm (weight balance length) Camber draws evenly with full sound. Good for period repertoire 1800's to early 1900's repertoire. Sound compliments camber. Selling at a very low price for a quick sale. Bow like this should sell for a lot more. The bow has not been restored. I don't know if the mounts are original or composite. Currently the bow is with my luthier, James Banicki Violin in Essex Junction, Vermont. Will sell at a lower price through my luthier. Inquire for more details. Free shipping if you're on the East Coast. Excellent bow for student or amateur player. Bought in France at a flea market.
