Fluke Networks DTX-1800 SM/MM Fiber/Copper CAT6 Cable Certifier Tester & Modules

Description: This is a used Fluke Networks DTX-1800 Copper/Fiber Cable Certifier and Tester. These are normally used by datacom & telecom installers to test, troubleshoot and diagnose cable runs used for data network communication.All components are in good condition with scuffs, marks, scratches and wear from normal installation, use and transport. The yellow rubber boot on the main unit stretched with age, so it flaps a litte, it can probably be glued back in place but I left it as-is for now. Some minor dust on the display, but all lines and backlight are working properly.I charged the unit up using the included power supplies for several hours, the charge LED's on the side of the Main & Remote units went from RED to GREEN when the charge was complete. I then powered both units on and tested the individual adapters on the unit doing some quick tests and it appears to be operating fine. The unit is running older firmware and does not have a recent calibration, but the tests I ran passed with no issues when the proper settings were used, I'm definitely not an expert on cable certification but know enough on how to do basic tests with the unit. All software/firmware/etc on the units is sold as-installed, no subscriptions, media or any software is included. The RJ45 Channel & Permanent Link Adapters show the tests on them in the photos, I was not able to see tests on the MM/SM fiber modules as it didn't show up in the info page on the unit.A carrying case is included, it's in good condition with no major wear on it. It has a top cover flap with two netted pockets for holding cables and other accessories.Please note all batteries included with the unit are sold as-is since they are used. During my testing they took & held a charge and were able to power the units on without the need for any external power. There are two power supplies included both 15vdc @ 1amp, they are both aftermarket but supply the 15vdc @1amp that the units require for charging power, one isn't pictured as I forgot it in the photo.
