MEASUREMENTS The pendant is about 1.22" across x .071" thick (31mm x 1.8mm). The necklace chain is offered in your choice of length from 16" to 36" (40cm to 91cm) I can also swap out the Snake style chain with any other style chain I have in my shop at your request. MATERIALS The pendant is an antiqued silver zinc alloy casting. The chain and all its components are made with hypo-allergenic Stainless steel. ABOUT This celebrated seal, called the 4th Pentacle of Mercury, is found in The Key of Solomon the King (Clavicula Salomonis), one of history's most famous grimoires and and a fascinating artifact of the European Renaissance. It served as a guidebook of ceremonial magic, holding within it "The Order of the Pentacles". The Greater Key of Solomon claims this seal will empower the wearer "to acquire the understanding and knowledge of all things created, and to seek out and penetrate into hidden things, and to command those spirits called Allatori to perform embassies". A DODECAGRAM is a star polygon that has 12 vertices, or a 12-pointed star. The name "dodecagram" combines the numeral prefix dodeca- with the Greek suffix -gram. The -gram suffix means a line. The dodecagram, or twelve pointed star, is one of the popular symbols of Hellenism. The twelve points represent the twelve Olympic Gods of ancient Greece. According to the Golden Dawn, the Dodekagram, in the fourth form; reflected from every fifth point. The Dodekagram reflected from every fifth point is formed of four Triangles within Circle, and refers to the concentrated force of the four Triplicities of the Zodiac operating through nature. The Dodekagram, of the fifth form; reflected from every sixth point.
