Listed for auction is a oustanding political collection which contains the autographs of President Grover Cleveland, his wife Frances Folsom Cleveland [1864 1947] and his cabinet members from his second term from 1893 to 1897 excluding only Adelai Stevenson. The autographs are signed on a total of [5] five album pages and are signed as typed, 1] ''Grover Cleveland June 19, 1893'' accompained with his wife's signature below his ''Frances F. Cleveland 19 June 1893'' in black fountain pen. 2] The next album page is signed ''W.Q Gresham Secretary of State Sept 19th 1893'' and ''J.G Carlisle Secretary of the Treasury'' in black fountain pen. Walter Q. Gresham [1832 1895] served as the 33rd Secretary of State from 1893 until his death in 1895, John G. Carlisle [1834 1910] served as the 41st Secretary of the Treasury from 1893 to 1897. 3] The next album page is signed ''Daniel S. Lamont Secretary of War Sept 1893'' and H.A. Herbert Secy of the Navy'' in black fountain pen. Daniel Scott Lamont [1851 1904] served as the 39th Secretary of War from 1893 to 1897, Hilary A. Herbert [1834 1919] served as the 33rd Secretary of the Navy from 1893 to 1897. 4] The next album page is signed ''Richard Oliney'' and ''W.S. Bissell Postmaster General Sept 22, 1893'' in black fountain pen. Richard Olney [1835 1917] served as the 40th Attorney General from 1893 to 1895, William Shannon Bissel [1847 1903] served as the 36th Postmaster General from 1893 to 1895, 5] The next album page is signed ''J. Sterling Morton Secretary of Agriculture Sept 22nd 1893'' in black fountain pen. Julius Sterling Morton [1832 1902] served as the 3rd Secretary of Agriculture from 1893 to 1897. The last autograph is signed ''Hoke Smith Secretary of the Interior Oct 3rd 1893'' in black fountain pen. Note, this autograph is signed on the verso of the album page containing the autographs of Richard Oliney and William Bissell. Michael Hoke Smith [1855 1931] served as the 19th Secretary of the Interior from 1893 to 1896. The album pages measure 7.50 x 4.50 inches, they are in very good to fine condition with trivial toning/soiling edge wear and some collectors notations in pencil. The autographs are authentic and are desirable examples of our former president, his wife and cabinet.
