Description: Apparently the definitive French Cuisine Cookbook. This is a 1966 Sphinx Edition. This used book has wear on the cover, but the pages inside are crisp and clean. The random bookmarks were removed and will be sent with book in ziplock bag, as they tell a very interesting story. The oldest bookmark was from a French Newspaper dated 1968. which leads me to believe the original owner bought and used it in France. The other 2 bookmarks were 1985 food store discount coupons in English. Please observe photos carefully to determine condition. Many photographs in color and black and white. Book measures 9 1/2 in x 7 in, and is 2 1/2 in thick. It weighs over 5 lbs, 4 oz.!
