It came from the Personal Collection of Brewer's MLB Hall of Fame Catcher,TED SIMMONS... plus...Ted signed the cap's brim "Ted J. Simmons HOF 2020" Simmons was a pack rat of sorts. He saved a lot of his personal memorabilia and this cap came directly from his personal estate collection. To collect a Vintage Brewers cap, Ted must have been a psychic, as this cap actually predates his arrival in Milwaukee by 6-10 years. Quite possibly it was gifted to him upon the beginning of his 5 year run with Milwaukee in 1981. This cap, made by KM PRO was used by the FIRST YEAR BREWERS in 1970 right on thru 1974. In 1975, New Era got the contract to make the Brewers caps. It is absolutely Vintage, New Old Stock, Team Issued, Game Ready, Never made available to the general public, Not Game Used or Game Worn.
